Fishing Reports

6/20/10

Lake Hamilton

The lake temp is in the upper 80's to lower 90's and the water color is clear. The lake is at  full  pool and weekend boat trafic is here. The spawn is back hill side for bream and catfish.  Beds can be seen in some pockets.  Bass are being caught on many types of  top water lures at the mouth of most major creeks. They are also being caught on worms in brushpiles after dark.

Lake Ouachita

The lake temp is in the upper 80's to the lower 90's. the lake level is in the buckbrush and falling.  The water color is clear.  Bass are being caught in all areas of the lake on topwater lures.  The points are holding better fish. Also try a Texas rig worm in brush piles in 15' of water. Stripers are breaking on top water in select areas, try the Buckville flats.  The catfish and bream are on the backside of the spawning.  Look for beads in the back of the bays.
